What does it mean to hold by faith?
Everyone lives by faith; A child puts his faith in his parents, a student does so in his teacher, a scientist in his findings and so on......
The question is: where do you put your faith? On what do you hold on? On Science? On Yourself? or On your friends?
We should put our faith in the Almighty God. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Only God can bear the weight of the faith of the innumerable living beings of this world.
The Holy Bible teaches us why we should put our faith in God. It is evident from these verses:

“Be happy in your hope, stand your ground when you’re in trouble, and devote yourselves to prayer.”

Think about it like this: If you’ve ever been to the ocean, then you know the overwhelming and awe-inspiring feeling of seeing the vastness of its mighty waves. You know what it’s like to realize that the sea is far deeper, more powerful, and more mysterious than any human will likely ever be able to comprehend. Without the restraint of the land on which we stand, the miles-deep water would surely over- take the entirety of society, consuming and swallowing everything in its path.
